Packing
We like to describe your experience at Trout Lake Club as a step above camping. Vacationing at Trout Lake Club gives you the opportunity to get the rustic experience of camping in the Adirondacks without the tent and sleeping on the ground. Our recommended packing list is as follows:
cottage
Silverware or any kitchen supplies you like to cook with (cottages are equipped with basic pots, pans and glassware)
Paper products (paper towels, paper plates, etc.)
Groceries (Our snack bar has basic grill food available)
Note: Please keep in mind, glass is not allowed on the beach
Bedding (pillow cases, sheets, blankets, sleeping bags, etc.)
Note: We do offer a linen service at additional charge
Toiletries
Toilet Paper
Warm Clothing (It can get cool at night)
Speaker (Please play at low volume and only at your cabin)

Firewood (Firewood is available for sale on the property)
Beach chairs, towels, toys, beachwear, etc.
Flashlights
Bug Repellent & Sunscreen
Comfortable Hiking Shoes, Sneakers, and/or Waterproof Sandals (Loafers and dress shoes do not work well on paths)
Extras
Life Preservers (We have preservers available for rent, though we recommend you bring preservers that fit you and your children - especially if you are not swimmers)
Reading Material (We have an assortment of books in our snack bar that you can help yourself to as well)
Tennis Racquets, Tennis Balls, Golf Clubs
Fishing Equipment (Lures and bait are available locally)
S’mores materials to enjoy around the campfire
Trout Lake Club Merchandise! We have Trout Lake Club merchandise (sweatshirts, t-shirts, tank tops) and Maple Syrup, made on and tapped from the property, for sale in the Snack Bar!
